Godfried Lambriex

Godfried Lambriex (1966, Uithoorn) is a politician at the Labour Party who earned his spurs in Amsterdam-West. As a graduated economist in 1988 he started working as a researcher at the Utrecht University, and began his career as a politician in the Labour Party in 1992. After being active in local politics, he became alderman in the Baarsjes district in 2006. When District Mayor Arco Verburg (Labour) departed in 2009, Lambriex succeeded him until the elections of 2010. He later became alderman again in the West district. Lambriex was responsible for the ‘Westermoskee file’ until 2014. He is currently Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Waste Service in West.
