ACB

The Amsterdam Centre for Foreigners (ACB) was a non-profit organisation, which was designed to form a bridge between the municipality and ethnic minorities in the city. The organisation was partly subsidized by the city of Amsterdam and the province of North Holland. An employee of the ACB suggested the name of Frank Bijdendijk, director of housing corporation Het Oosten, to Üzeyir Kabaktepe, frontman of Milli Görüş in the late nineties. He later proved to be able to break the deadlock between the Turks and the district council.
